  • The PLA allows multiple PL series charge controllers to work together in a single system. It provides a common communication interface and 4 alarm/control channel outputs and can also control an LSI load switch unit.
  • It can be used on its own or as a manager for one, two or three PL controllers of any type. This leads to a powerful combination for large stand alone solar and hybrid Systems up to 180 Amps charge current.
  • The PLA makes system performance data retrieval easier by providing system total information in addition to the comprehensive data acquisition features of the PL charge controllers.
  • Communication is done via a DC isolated RS232 serial port. The unit has high battery voltage and low battery voltage alarms with alarm state indicators. The alarm points are programmable.
  • The PLA keeps the individual PL controllers synchronized. This means that charging is properly shared between controllers and time settings are kept in sync.
