We are looking for a person to join our team as soon as possible, in the capacity of Internal Sales (m/f/d)

  • You will work in internal sales and support our customers with order-processing. You will create offers, orders, invoices and delivery notes
  • You will support our customers throughout the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa) in cooperation with the responsible account managers
  • You will place orders for goods at manufacturing sites in China, India and future sites
  • You will support our Logistics Manager in managing incoming and outgoing shipments in our external warehouse in Bubesheim, 30 min outside of Ulm, Germany
  • You will also help with evaluations and reports as well as with general administrative tasks

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • You have successfully completed commercial training, ideally with a focus on foreign trade
  • You have 2-4 years of experience in an international environment, both with customers and with colleagues

Phocos is currently seeking a Sales Manager - Europe to rapidly develop and grow Phocos’ business throughout Europe, serving as the key interface between customers and internal stakeholders. This position requires both technical expertise as well as the ability to initiate and develop relationships with a wide array of clients and partners from various cultural backgrounds while positioning the Phocos brand for long term growth in the marketplace. The Sales Manager - Europe will work closely with clients, the Internal Sales team and the Technical Support team to ensure customer satisfaction and expand opportunities for future sales growth. He/she must be comfortable with frequent travel, public speaking and be able to present complex technical subjects in an intuitive and straightforward manner.
  
Reporting to the COO, the Sales Manager - Europe, keeps current on market/technology trends and provides product strategy recommendations to R&D, Product Management and Executive Management teams including well defined business cases based on real world market opportunities.

You will

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three years minimum closing high volume deals sales
  • Previous experience in the solar, energy storage or other renewable energy field

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Multi vertical experience with 5 years of individual sales contributor role will be preferred.

Phocos is currently seeking a Support Technician to join our Customer Service, Quality Management and Engineering teams.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Support Technician is an integral part of the technical team. He is responsible for technical customer service, application support, and assisting the development teams in creating and executing test plans as part of the product development process.

Tasks:

  • Handling technical support requests for the EMEA region
  • Troubleshooting issues and responsible for communicating thoroughly and promptly with customers on the status and resolution of support tickets
  • Testing of prototypes, alpha, beta and release products
  • Traceable documentation of test results and providing feedback to the development team
  • Investigating, documenting and resolving customers' warranty claims in a timely manner while applying world-class customer service skills
  • Thoroughly documenting all customer technical issues and regularly updating status throughout the support process
  • Needs-based support of the internal sales/logistics in quality control, the preparation of outgoing shipments and shipping
  • Occasional business trips with overnight stays are required (up to 10%).

Knowledge/Skills/Competences:

  • Knowledge of electronics with experience in power electronics
  • Proven experience using digital multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes and similar test equipment

Phocos sucht derzeit einen Support-Techniker zur Unterstützung unserer Teams für den Kundendienst, das Qualitätsmanagement und die Entwicklung.

Der Support-Techniker, der dem Director of Engineering unterstellt ist, bildet einen wesentlichen Bestandteil des technischen Teams. Er ist verantwortlich für den technischen Kundendienst, den Anwendungssupport und die Unterstützung der Entwicklungsteams bei der Erstellung und Ausführung von Testplänen im Rahmen des Produktentwicklungsprozesses.

Aufgaben:

  • Bearbeitung technischer Supportanfragen für die EMEA-Region
  • Behebung von Problemen und verantwortlich für eine gründliche und unverzügliche Kommunikation mit den Kunden über den Status und die Lösung von Support-Tickets
  • Test von Prototypen, Alpha-, Beta- und Release-Produkten
  • Nachvollziehbare Dokumentation von Testergebnissen und Erteilen von Feedback gegenüber dem Entwicklungsteam
  • Untersuchung, Dokumentation und Lösung der Garantieansprüche von Kunden in einer zügigen Art und Weise und in diesem Zusammenhang Anwendung der erstklassigen Fähigkeiten im Kundenservice
  • Gründliche Dokumentation aller technischen Kundenprobleme und regelmäßige Aktualisierung des Status während des gesamten Support-Prozesses
  • Bedarfsgerechte Unterstützung des Vertriebsinnendienstes/der Logistik bei der Qualitätskontrolle, der Vorbereitung von ausgehenden Sendungen und dem Versand
  • Gelegentlich Wahrnehmung von Dienstreisen mit Übernachtung wird (bis zu 10%) verlangt

Kenntnisse/Fähigkeiten/Kompetenzen:

  • Elektronikkenntnisse mit Erfahrung in der Leistungselektronik
  • Nachgewiesene Erfahrung im Umgang mit digitalen Multimetern, Stromversorgungen, Oszilloskopen und ähnlichen Prüfgeräten
  • Solide Erfahrung in den Bereichen THT/SMT-Löten und Systemmontage
  • Sehr gute Problemlösungskompetenz
  • Sorgfältige Führung von Aufzeichnungen und Dokumentation
  • Ausgezeichnete Fähigkeiten in den Bereichen Kundenservice und Präsentation
  • Fähigkeit zur Interpretation von elektrischen Zeichnungen und Schaltplänen

Mindestqualifikationen:

  • 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Techniker in einem Bereich der Elektronik
  • 5 Jahre Erfahrung im technischen Support in einem Bereich der Elektronik
  • Erfahrung im Verfassen und Ausführen von technischen Prüfplänen und im Erstellen von schriftlichen Prüfberichten
  • Fließende Beherrschung der deutschen und englischen Sprache

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen:

  • Mehr als 5 Jahre Erfahrung als Techniker in der Leistungselektronik- und/oder Solarindustrie

The Warehouse Operations Associate will assist the Logistics Manager with warehouse operation for Phocos’ Bubesheim warehouse, as well as work closely with internal sales and support our customers with order-processing.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for warehouse including but not limited to receiving containers on time, putting away/picking/shipping on time based on customer routing guide requirement, working with outbound transportation team to ensure products get picked up on time, as well as quality management, returns operations.
  • Support Logistics Manager in managing incoming and outgoing shipments in our external warehouse in Bubesheim, 30 min outside of Ulm, Germany
  • Order processing and purchasing for the European warehouse as well as microcontrollers for production in China and India.
  • Understand and manage quarterly warehouse inventory, procurement of warehouse equipment and office supplies, while ensuring warehouse cost comes within budget.
  • Purchases all inventory supply items as required supporting targeted inventory levels.
  • Actively drive cost savings initiatives.
  • Stay on top of waste disposal laws where it pertains to old appliances, batteries, and other equipment.
  • Work on new merchandise management system (Netsuite/Trello).
  • Manage distribution along with material handling and routing/labeling requirements for national and international trade shows
  • Maintain communications and work cross functionally with Sales, Finance, and other Phocos teams regarding tasks or projects relating to inventory, invoicing,  item setup, parcel services, order shipment documentation, etc..
  • Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, work on the implementation, maintenance, and any improvements around warehouse related systems and processes.
  • Requires full understanding of products to come up with storage requirement by product to efficiently utilize warehouse space while maintaining product quality.
  • Help with evaluations and reports as well as with general administrative tasks.
  • Promptly and politely responds to customer inquiries and requests for support
  • Perform additional duties as required including, but not limited to, stocking, freight processing, etc., and cover for Logistics Manager when offsite or away from work.
  • Observe standard operating procedures for consistent quality standards and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Professionally interact with customers, team members, and third-party vendor/partner relationships to provide the highest level of customer service.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years warehouse operations, purchasing experience, preferably in a global company.
  • High level of attention to detail, strategic thinking, ability to solve complex problems, and provide strategic analysis that guides decision making.
  • Strong Customer Service orientation.
  • Must be able to work required schedules onsite at our Bubesheim location.
  • Must be able to safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment.
  • Must be able to operate the receiving segment of the warehouse management computer system.
  • Must be able to continually lift, carry, push and pull merchandise up to 40kg.
  • Must be able to continually stand, bend, stoop, twist and reach.
  • Must successfully complete commercial training, ideally with a focus on foreign trade
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office package and proficiency in ERP and CRM systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Logistics & Distribution.
  • Strong collaborative problem-solver, effective communicator.
  • Ability to forecast, analyze and prepare statistical data and metrics
  • Organized, responsible, ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • May have to travel at times to Ulm
  • 2-4 years of experience in an international environment, both with customers and with colleagues
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and solid English skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and accurately,
